- A footrest on the desk is used to rest and support your feet. It is therefore an adjustable elevation of the floor. It is useful when the seat and/or work table used is too high for one person and the legs are accordingly too short to reach the floor. With the right footrest, tired, swollen feet and sleepy legs will soon be a thing of the past.
